playing HD video with a $20 cpu and a $30 GPU with Linux

what i'd like to see is someone take a similar system, slap windows on it and give this software a whirl:

it should be released within a couple of days and if they're claims are true (it's a CUDA application) then it should be able to school even the most expensive quad cores in video encoding/transcoding.

Of course, that's an earlier beta release. Hope it's gotten better.
