  1. I have a content encoded using H.264 Main Profile Level 3.1 and encapsulated in MPEG2 Transport Stream. I need to re-encode it into H.264 Main Profile Level 3.0. Are there any tools available that can re-encode an MPEG2 TS (.ts) file?
If not, then I guess I would have to demux the MPEG2 TS (.ts) to MPEG2 Program Stream and then re-encode it. Can anybody please suggest softwares that can do this demuxing and re-encoding. I have tried ProjectX for demuxing but it does not support content encoded in H.264. Please help.

But is their anyway I can decode a .ts file into a .mpg or .avi file so that I have complete control over the some or all of the encoding parameters?
