  1. I have a number of M2TS files that I would like to join together preserving the AC3 tracks to play back on a PS3. I tried tssplitter but got an error when I played back on VLC part way through. I also tried TSMuxer that appears to stream all clips at the same time and I wanted them sequentially, what other options are there / what am I doing wrong?

Did you use the 'Append' function in Tsmuxer when you added your files? I've joined two m2ts files with 5.1 AC3 that way with no problems. Haven't tried more, but it should work the same.

Add your first file, then use 'Append' to add each additional file. You can append them in any order also if needed.

  5. Redwudz, many thanks for your helpful and quick response and I now feel totally embarrassed about not spotting the obvious.

I have managed to successfully join a number of files together using Append and provided they have the same dimensions there is no problem I am now looking into resizing a couple of the clips.

I was familiar with VirtualDub's 'append' function, so I spotted it early on. One BD disc I tried had the m2ts files out of order and appending the second one to the first one in the correct order cured the problem.

I tried this with the Enchanted Blu-Ray backup (about 21 seperate m2ts files) and the resulting file was way too small and the PS3 reported it as corrupted.

I also tried concatenating all of the m2ts files with the copy function but this resulted in audio out-of-sync after about three of the files.

    Help!!!

Not really familiar with the 'Enchanted' BD. I usually just backup the main movie, as I have the original if I want to see the 'extras'.

In that case the main movie is often just one or two .m2ts files, usually the largest ones. Those are the ones I ran through tsMuxeR. Adding all of the available .m2ts files might cause a problem, depending what's on them, and the format or structure of the BD. But just guessing. Disney has a whole lot of previews on most of their discs.

If the .m2ts files are from a blu ray join them w/ the latest version of TsMuxer by imputing the top playlist from BD Edit or BD info in the window where you normally put the .m2ts file
