so, i have a movie on my hard drive, and i am used to seeing one large m2ts file that i can demux, and reauthor. however, this time there are a whole bunch of m2ts files. i guess the main movie is a combination of a bunch of these. after searching the forums for a long time, looks like i can use tsmuxer, duh..., to join them, however, is there an easy way to figure out which ones are the main movie? i have seem info on playlists, but not really sure what to look for.

second question, is when i demux a movie, i always reencode the true hd audio to ac3 640kbps. i do this to save space obviously. first of all, do i need an audiocard capable to playing that kind of file for it to play properly? when i try to play it in media player classic, i can hear audio but it skips like it is playing fast.

last week, i took 2 stabs at backing up a movie, one on a dvd dual layer, and one on a bd-r. the first one i tsmuxed, re-encoded/extracted the ac3 track from the truehd audio, and backed up the movie on a dvd r dual layer, and it played perfectly. i then tsmuxed, did not re-encode any audio, and reauthored /backed up the movie on a bd-r. when i play the movie on my standalone player, the audio skips. how can that be. a bluray movie that has a truehd audio track can be played through any tv, or receiver because the 2 channel audio at the least can be heard. when i play the movie, the only audio tracks i can select are the truehd and the commetary track. i had to have missed tsmuxing an audio track i guess?

thanks for any help.
