    I changed some VOB files to Mpegs and now when I go to play them it says Unknown length. Any way to have it figure out the length?

    How did you change them to mpg? VOB2MPG or another tools or just renamed to mpg?

    You can try fix them using videoredo(quickstream fix) or run them through the free pvastrumento.

    Rename them back to vob and try one or all of the tools mentioned by Baldrick.
