    is it possible to do this? i've googled it, and i found a regedit that could be done, and it did make some thumbnails appear, but in doing so crashed windows explorer.

    anyway to enable thumbnails for .m2ts files?

    Can you play the m2ts in windows media player? If not then try install haali media splitter and ffdshow. But it might not be enough.

    yes, can play m2ts file depending on audio stream, in wmp, have Haali installed, and also coreavc, and have it enabled in Haali. the regedit i found kinda worked, but crashed explorer, luckily i could get rid of all the entries. I so want to be able to surf through WMC through movie and vid files and be able to see thumbnails, or covers, of everything, would be very cool.
