  2. I wouldn't ignore it! Where did you DL it? They might have an infected file.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

  4. The warning in VCDEasy comes when I check for a new version...it says "Norton Antivirus reports that cygz.dll from Gnu VCD Imager is infected by a trojan horse. I am not sure it is true, as it does not have the symptoms described in...'symantecsite'... wait to things get clear.."

I downloaded the file from two different sites, and it gives this message everytime when I check for new versions...

  5. Symantec has apparently issued a new virus definition set this morning that fixes this problem. You may need to force an update in NAV to get the new definitions. I tested it on cygz.dll and it no longer detects a trojan

  7. Check out http://servicenews.symantec.com/cgi-bin/browse.cgi?group=symantec.support.generic.virus.general and put "cygz.dll" in the search box. NAV's definitions that came out yesterday caused a bit of a flurry. They have issued a corrected set today. VCDEasy's warning also says to get the new definitions.

  8. I had VCDEasy 1.04 and it was working perfect. Then for some reason all my burnt VCD's started showing two small views at the top of the screen. I downloaded VCDEasy 1.07 to try to correct this problem but it is still the same. Could this be associated with a virus or has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know the cure?
    Thanks for any help.

  9. There is no virus.

NAV is in error and this is fixed with the newer definitions.
