    I want to convert a sony m2ts file into MKV

    I have Sony Vegas but MKV render isn't there. I basically want to encode an m2ts file into a more common known video file in high quality. Size of file isn't an issue. I did a search until my fingers hurt and can't seem to find a good solution. Can somebody plz help.
