    Hi all,
    I am searching for a multimedia hard disc which can play my avi videos from my Panasonic with the DV-codec. I don't want to convert to any other format, because I will reduce than the quality of the videos and I lost the option, to copy the videos back to tape.
    Or is there an other option, to play DV-codec material on TV (not from tape)?

    I play directly from the computer through firewire to Canopus ADVC 100, or via display card to DVI/HDMI. My laptop plays to analog component YPbPr.
