    I need some help badly.

I am creating subs for a documentary. Sometimes peoples names are coming up in the bottom of the screen, while they are talking. At those moments i need to move my subs up, to maybe midscreen, so that both translation and credits are visible.

How do i do that with subtitle workshop or any other????

Try Aegisub and use .SSA or .ASS files.
.SRTs, .SUBs and other file types are not designed for exact formatting and placement.

What kind of subs? What kind of end result? (DivX, DVD,...,?) If your end result is a DVD you can adjust the position with DVDSubEdit.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

    Aegisub worked great.
