    does anyone know of any portable dvd players that do pal/ntsc playback?

    like these below...not any particular brand just portable models in general

    Portable players are typically not region free. So they only support the format for the region where they are purchased.

    If you have a region free pal dvd then the only way is to try it before you buy it,just like most regular dvd players they should play them but no guarantee.

    I just bought jWIN JD-VD762 portable DVD player with 9" screen, USB 2.0 port, and SD/MMC memory card slot. It plays NTSC and PAL DVDs.
