    Hi folks -

    Complete noob to ffmpegx here. My problem is nearly the same as one just posted. That is, I installed ffmpegx successfully (I think...), tried converting a .flv file, and I get a conversion, but it has no file length.

    Here's what the "info" on the conversion stated:

    FFmpeg version CVS, Copyright (c) 2000-2004 Fabrice Bellard
    Fri Nov 28 14:47:37 CST 2008
    Mac OSX universal build for ffmpegX
    libavutil version: 49.0.0
    libavcodec version: 51.9.0
    libavformat version: 50.4.0
    Seems that stream 1 comes from film source: 1000.00 (1000/1) -> 29.97 (30000/1001)
    Input #0, flv, from '/Users/terryyounkin/Movies/Danny Gatton Licks & Tricks/Danny Gatton - Licks and Tricks.failed-conv.flv':
    Duration: 00:05:36.9, bitrate: N/A
    Stream #0.0: Audio: mp3, 44100 Hz, mono
    Stream #0.1, 29.97 fps(r): Video: flv, yuv420p, 480x320
    Codec type mismatch for mapping #0.0 -> #0.0

    Anyone have any ideas on where I need to start to fix this? Thanks in advance!

    Tick the checkbox 'Invert mapping' in the Audio tab and try again.

    That's it! Worked like a charm. This is going to be great fun! Lots of exploring to do.

    Thanks, Case, for the rapid and accurate help.
