SlicknPick,
I have a 127-min movie I'd like to convert to either VCD or SVCD. I've tried lots of different settings in TMPGEnc Beta 12 but is not yet satisfied with the results. The VCD has a lot of macroblocks while the SVCD while it does not have macroblocks, moving images are jittery to the point that you cannot recognize moving people's faces (I used 2-pass VBR with 2300 average and 2520 max bit rate).
Do you think you can send me a copy of your template? I think with a little modification to your template (probably lesser audio bit rate) I can fit my 127-min movie into 2 80-min CD-Rs with good quality.
Thanks in advance. My email is ldavid@tycomltd.com
