  1. When I encode MPEGs, I always encode the audio in MP3. But my problem is that I can only encode with a maximum quality of 56kbits/sec. Why is that? I'd like to get a higher bitrate.

    I am using the latest VirtualDub version (1.4.8 ). I am also running Windows XP.

  2. I had this problem, it is cause you have the default windows mp3 encoder. You just need to get a different one, can't remember the site. Just look for my post on this forum about the same thing.
