I isolated down to MPC HC as the only source that's causing the Ati2mtag and/or dxva_sig messages either in the folder where the video clips are or in the Event Viewer, they are NOT listed as "Warnings" or "Errors" just Event ID 62464 Ati2mtag DVD-OV...is this just information from my ATI card? or it's telling me MPC HC is using the hardware accelerated mode? other than appearing in the Event viewer, it's not doing anything harm or anything to my sys....should I be bother?
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the errors are from the ATI drivers. I've had similar messages occasionally. My video card does use hardware acceleration. About all I can suggest if it's causing problems is to try different versions of the drivers. Someone here may have some better ideas.

Thanks redwudz. I guess I'll use ATI Catalyst Drivers 8.5 instead of the latest 8.11....actually for non gamer like myself, I don't really need the latest version of ATI Catalyst Drivers, what I need is a stable version of the ATI Catalyst Drivers that's plays/works perfectly with MPC HC 8) .
Best regards.
