    hey all i need some help, i've tryed to rip a DVD movie using dvd2svcd and it was successfully the quality is amazing when theres outdoor scenes but when the scene is dar i can see like a double widescreen, the black bar and top bar turn into a lighter black and it doesn't look good why is that can some 1 help me

    i'm guessing the movie is 2.35:1 widescreen? either dvd2svcd got the colorspace wrong or the original letterboxing is poorly done. if you want to fix it you need to edit the avisynth script to crop & replace the original letterboxing, but in any case you probably wont notice it on your tv
