I don't have any problems with some dvd just when i use dvd decrypter alone if I have a dvd-rw disk that is 8.5gb and the movie is about the same size but i would like to be able to shrink it and burn the larger dual layer on 4.7 gb if i can any help wpold be thankful from a novice here thanks climbhigh512

I can't improve on Baldrick's post, but to add some info that might be useful to a newbie...
RipIt4Me and DVDDecrypter have not been updated for several years. The authors of both programs were given an offer they could not refuse that they could either stop working on the programs and turn over all code on them or they would face a potentially ruinous lawsuit. Given how 321 Studios was driven out of business despite their product actually preserving CSS and taking steps to prevent further copying, nobody wanted to take their chances in a US court, so they complied. Some newer DVDs cannot be decrypted with those programs, most notably a lot of stuff on Sony. DVDFab HD Decrypter is the best of the current rippers in my opinion and it does get updated because it's from a country far from the reach of the MPAA.
