Hey all.
I have been downloading English Subtitles which were all in .srt and .ssa format and the subtitles showed up just fine. Recently, I tried to download Thai Subtitles. The subtitles did appear but in the form of gibberish beyond comprehension. I was just wondering if i needed an external software to convert those gibberish to Thai words or something similar to that. Please advice. Thank you!

Do you have a Thai language pack/fonts installed on your computer? Can you open them in notepad? .srt subs should at least have a timing structure even if the text is unreadable. Don't know about .ssa format.
