    hi all, i am trying to remove some unwated sofware. ive tried using the add and remove that is within windows and it still leaves traces of it there. is there any other programs out there that will work?

    you could try Revo Uninstaller ? http://www.revouninstaller.com/
    I've used it with some success in the past.

    Just about any decent registry program will can also handle it.

    EasyCleaner can do it ( http://personal.inet.fi/business/toniarts/ecleane.htm#download ) and I believe Ccleaner can do it as well ( http://www.ccleaner.com/ ).

    search your hard drive for all files named sysoc.inf (enable hidden files etc)
    open each in notepad and use the edit function to replace all instances of the word hide with nothing at all -- delete every instance of 'hide'
    save the file and go back into Add/Remove programs to see if there's anything "new" that you missed.

    the registry cleaners already mentioned are definitely a good suggestion and will go a long way
    sometimes after an uninstall and the above methods you will still find that you have to go in and manually delete stuff though.
