    Hello guys!

I have lots of music videos in VOB format, they are all in 720x480 resolution with either AC3 or LPCM audio. Some videos are full screen and some have black bars at top and bottom, also all are interlaced, and have runtime of 3-4 minutes.

So my problem is how to convert these videos to avi with cropping the black bars and deinterlacing.

I want to get the maximum possible video quality with file size upto 120MB and keeping AC3 or LPCM audio.

    Is Vdub MPEG2 good enough?

    So please help me.
Your kind help will be greatly appriciated.

  2. Load 'em into AutoGK and let it go to work. If you want them all the same quality, set a Fixed Width in the Advanced Options, and in the main screen choose Target Quality. The default 75% is good.

And what about cropping [I want to remove letterboxing] and deinterlacing?

    I have found this tutorial,

    Is this good enough?

Did you even try AutoGK? It analyzes the source, removes any letterboxing that has to be removed, gets rid of any interlacing that has to be gotten rid of. And all automatically, without you even having to know anything at all. Which is why I recommended it. I didn't feel like downloading any tutorials. There are a ton of AutoGK guides around if you'd only look. You might start by reading the one included with it.

I am really sorry that I ignored you,
Now I tried AutoGK, it is awesome, it automatically analizes the video and crops aand deinterlaces it.
