Ok, I have a wierd problem.

I am using Riverpast to convert an MKV file to a Divx or Xvid avi file.

I have a HDD based mediaplayer box in my lounge which I use to play avi files, the thing, even though it's a Hi Def player, doesn't play MKV files, go figure.

The resulting Divx / Xvid files seem fine on the PC, but as soon as I play them on the "media box", the audio is way out of sync.

Anyone got any ideas how I can even begin to cure this problem?

Try convert something else, like xvid4psp! And you if it's ac3 audio you can keep it in the avi file.
