i have captured an avi from a video recorder using my wintv card, with virtua dub and the mjpeg codec. Is there anyway to get rid of that really annoying video tape noise using tmpgenc???is there any filters which will do this or do i have to do it in virtual dub....its really annoying coz i can get rid if it...its those horizontal rgb colored spekels...ahhhh!!!! plz help!?!?!

You should try it. Play around with some noise reduction filters. There is one in TMPG, there are few for VirtualDub. Personally I prefer the SpatialSoften plugin for Avisynth. But it is hell slow.
