Ok, I am struggling with this so bad, I have tried usins many programs, and am looking all over for how to do this. Ive done it before, with another video (Shooter, which had a resolution of 720x352 (anamorph) aspect ratio 2.47:1). The only problem I had with that viedo, was that it cut off VERY LITTLE on both sides, but at least it had the black bars on top and bottom. Anyways, I am trying to convert some episodes of Storm Chasers, which have resolution of: 1280x720 with an FPS of: 23.976. I have converted it with multiple programs, but when I put it on my ipod, in stretches it to 4:3 aspect ratio, or whatever the ipod is. What can I do to convert these files to ipod format, so it doesnt cut off anything, or stretch anything? The files are .mkv format too. Thanks!

So I think what I need is for the video to be in a letterboxed 4:3 format, so it fill fit my screen, and still maintain is widescreen goodness

Doesn't videora ipod converter fix this automatically? Or does it not support mkv sources?

Well, Ive tried videora ipod converter, it supports mkv, but none of the profile seem to make it 4:3 letterbox, cause when I got to put it on my ipod, it strecthes again. Is there a certain profile I am missing? I have the latest version.

Well, I looked through all the prfiles, and non seemed to work. I see you can make more profiles, but im nto sure how to make it 4:3 letterboxed, I think I need to do the padding, but im not sure how to do it.
