    1) Not enough information..what is the file you are trying to import? a JPG? A .psd file?

    2) If you're trying to make a DVD Menu you're in the wrong application. premiere is an editor, not an authoring application.

Premiere Pro 2 has a simple timeline to DVD mode only intended for quick previews. (see manual)

Well I've made some DVD menus of my own. Premiere Pro 2.0 has the ability put them as the frontrun for a DVD movie Premiere Pro comes with some DVD templates about 2. I would like to use my own custom templates for my short movies. I have found a tutorial that says put them in a custom folder did that still not work. All menus are in PSD format as which the ones in Premiere Pro

Premiere is designed mainly for editing the movie content itself. Encore is Adobe's tool for DVD authoring. You should really be doing your navigation menus with your DVD authoring software, not Premiere.
