Probably a self-inflicted problem this one, but it is frustrating nonetheless. I transferred every bit of footage I could off my GZ-HD7 recently and deleted the files off the hard drive. I deleted them in OSX's Finder, not using any part of the camera.
Anyway, the camera no longer finds the old files on there, which is good. But the recording space meter says I still only have about two hours of recording time, which is very very bad. I should have a lot more than that (I think it normally says six at FHD).
I know there is something I have done wrong, and need to do in order to regain the dead space, but what?
Oh yeah, and while I am at it, can anyone recommend a good "for dummies" type of book to read in order to learn how to use iMovie, iDVD, and Final Cut Express?
