Hi,
I used Apex Video Converter to convert an AVI file to MPEG1, then burned it on a VCD, but when I played it back on my PC and on my DVD player, the movie (audio and video both) plays too fast.
According to GSpot, the original AVI movie has a frame rate of about 29 fps, and the output NTSC vcd movie's frame rate is the same. How come the playback is too fast? Is there anyway around the problem?
Thank you.

Baldrick's suggestion to use TMPGENC is a terrific one. The free version will handle MPEG-1/VCD files very well.
Quick Media Converter will also do a nice job of converting from one format to another. In "Easy Mode" it chooses parameters that generally work without modification. It's also free. -
