Somewhat useful reference for locating cable ClearQAM subchannels. (Also ATSC 8vsb for over the air)

SiliconDust makes a dual tuner box with clearQAM capability. As part of their support resources, users report QAM scans by zip code. When you enter your zip code, they report user QAM scans as a composite list using virtual names for clearQAM against actual cable channels. If no data exists for your zip, they report a composite for all responses for the first three digits of your zip code and so on.

These scans are useful at least as a guide. You can manually enter indicated subchannels that don't show after your local scan. You might find something new. Put your zip code into this link.

I have the SiliconDust LAN tuner. Works very well. Unfortunately, my available cable has no HD broadcasting available. It's a private system, similar to a hotel/motel satellite feed. But the tuner does pick up about 25 local OTA HD channels.

    Nice resource link, though.
