COD sucks. If you want money, get it up front. Anything else is a gamble.

It depends on delivery. If you send the discs by mail, cash up front is the only way. But if you deliver at the doorstep, you can complete the transaction when you hand over the disc. People might be more inclined to say no if you ask for money without the finished product in hand -- but they may sign an order expressing intent to pay upon delivery. Again, that applies to face-to-face order fulfillment only. Otherwise, I agree with lordsmurf.

I agree, my advise was based on the assumption that you are talking directly to the order takers, and that these are people that you have at least some marginal contact with at school functions, and that you would personally be delivering the finished product.
