hello....i have a dvd player LG DV 382 which can play .srt files but it has only default option colour of white for .srt files....is there any program which can change this .srt files to display another color i.e yellow without hard encoding those .srt files onto movies.

N.B No problems are faced in playing those .srt files in pc as the colour, font, timing etc can be changed by programs like vobsub etc.

You can not change colors in a srt, you must change it in the dvd player settings. If that is not possible you could make image subtitles in a .divx file using for example AVIAddXSubs(they work on most divx certified dvd players)
