Hi I'm new here and I was wondering if anybody could help me.
I'm having trouble with a video that has people in it that are overshadowed to much. I tried allot of plugins on virtual dub (great program btw.) but nothing helps.
I tried:MSU smart brightness,MSU color enhancement, and offcourse VD's own brightness and contrast plugin.
If anyone can help pls do.
I've added a screenshot of the video

The only thing exposed in your video is the backlight. There is absolutely no sort of keylight source on your subjects. I cannot even tell there are people there. Have you tried the Levels filter in VirtualDub? You might get something from that, although frankly I doubt the camcorder captured a sufficient amount of detail to work with.

Even if you can improve it, the video will be very grainy at best.
