Hello!
I have recently been having some problems with making a DVD using a DVD-R disc. I successfully burnt my .vob file to the DVD, but it would not play in my DVD player. Any help is greatly appreciated.

PLEASE give us more information, what software are you using and do you just have a vob file?
You can not just burn a vob file on dvdr for example. You must have vob, ifo and bup files in a VIDEO_TS folder. If you don't have that then author your vob file to a dvd using for example dvdauthorgui, guifordvdauthor, muxman and then burn it.
