I have a Sapphire X1600PRO HDMI graphic card with HDMI dedicated output interface on card. I have had it for about 1.5 yrs and i am ready for a upgrade.

Which do you suggest is better?

    GeForce™ 9600GT Sonic

It's the same chipset, you aren't likely to notice much difference between the two. Typically, you'd watch clock speed and memory size. Of those two, I'd get the 9600GT. You can see some comparisons here: http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/gaming-graphics-charts-q3-2008/3DMark06-v1-1-0-3DMa...Score,794.html

I recently got a ATI HD 3870 video card for use with Blu-ray>HDMI and it works very well. Gave my Vista computer a 5.9 in both graphics ratings and still at a reasonable cost. (~$130US) http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/sapphire_hd_3870/15.htm
