    I might be asking something completely stupid, but here it comes anyway.
    Is there any way to change the field order in converted mpg (SVCD) file?

    I would convert the avi again with correct field order but I do not have the original avi file anymore and the mpg file is the only thing I have.

    If somebody can help with this I would appreciate that a lot!

    The only way to do that is to re-encode it again. Just use the mpg as your source in TMPGenc and change the field order and encode it right this time.
