  2. 1% frame dropped is nothing it should'nt affect in anyway visible it only means you've lost 1 frame per hundred... 1 frame per 4 secs... as for the line i don't know if i see something. i'll get it to you aas soon as possible

That line is a typical VHS artifact. You don't see it on TV because of overscan, but it is allways there. Just crop it out. 1% frame loss is also nothing to worry about (if you didn't lose all frame at once)

First, What are you capturing with??

Second, I assume that your capture was terminated when when this meesage came up.

If you are using Virtual dub, then it probably means that you have a condition set in the 'stop conditions' settings. It allows you to set a stop condition based on the number of frames dropped. You may have it selected and set to 1%. (If my assumptions are wrong...hope you get some help elsewhere)

Regarding the dropped frame rate.....1% probably won't be all that noticable but you should be able to do at least 10 times better than that....so keep trying!

To me, it is better if you loose less frames, so, I'm saying you should be able to get below 0.1% loss of frames (ie less then 1 in 1000...I average about 1 loss in 5000 at the moment)
