  1. I have a RCA camera with a AV (Yellow and White) output... There is no USB or Firewire equipment cables in the package and the Camera uses Cassets (Yes I know that the world had changed to digital cameras... lol)... Anyway, is there any way that I can take the video off the Camera using a Composite to USB cable to connect the camera to the Computer and capture the Video from the camera?

A quick Google search on "analog video capture usb" yields a few things like this:

There are also people who like the Canopus and Hauppauge devices.

What have is actually an analog camcorder that uses composit (RCA) out, primarily to plug into a standard, CRT (now old fashioned) television so you can view your videos. I was in your situation not long ago and went through several programs that were supposed to capture analog, convert to digital and enable editing and none of them worked. With advice from this forum, I finally purchased a Hauppauge PVR250 television capture card, and it worked wonderfully. I then edited my home videos in Pinnacle 10+ and burned them to DVDs. By the way, Pinnacle is a real pain to work with, I finally learned how to get it to work without crashing on my computer. It has a really great layout, but buggy as a swamp in summer.
