Hi,
As I'm sure the diehard ffmpeg SVN users and app developers already know since about June of 08 ffmpeg built from SVN now has a iTunes friendly muxer built in....so no 3rd party muxer like YAMB etc is required to create .m4v iPod/iPhone etc. etc. video files that can be successfully synced to an iPod from iTunes.
This muxer also works in Linux so if you dual boot or network share iPod video files you can now create them in either platform and have the necessary UUID atom in the .m4v container for iTunes compliance.
