Did you give it a valid DVD Video_TS folder or a valid DVD ISO ?

If not, then it did it's job well.

    Did you use WRITE mode?

If you use BUILD mode, Imgburn will burn the ISO as a data file. Though it should tell you that and offer to change mode...

I've always used DVD Flick to convert a bunch of FLV's to a DVD. Just open it, add the files to the list, set the options for NTSC or PAL and let it do it's thing. It will even give a simple menu, if you're using one of the newer versions. It burns your files to a dvd with ImgBurn. Oh, yeah, it's free.

  9. here i am still trying to figure this out...trying to gather enough knowledge to be able to know what question to ask and how to ask it. i have flv files from youtube-52 episodes in a serial, totalling 1GB in size as flv.

should i be using mpgI or mpgII? how do i get a log from anyconverter? would mpgI and mpgII be way different in size after conversion? i converted to mpg using AnyConverter and the file more than doubles.

using dvdflick i get a single file that was under 20MB expanded to 570MB. is that what is supposed to happen? even though that is too big for my project (i want to make a dvd-or even two discs would be ok) to play on a standalone dvd player using pal.

i understand bitrate can be adjusted but i dont know if i can change the video without touching the audio bitrate. i am already 62 years old, i may die of old age before i get this figured out! it is for a friend who wont accept money or i would buy them the damn serial. i have to do this without costing any money.

i intend to use img burn to burn my disc-should it be a R+? i know you like super, but it almost killed my pc and i had to delete it, so that is not an option.

originally i was using freez (i think) to convert until it ran out on me and i have some logs that will tell you what kind of youtube videofiles i have to work with. that program was unable to convert almost all the files. anyconverter is able to convert them all, and i have no idea why.

i have the dvd flick files for ts_video and ts_audio and the audio folder is empty...??? forgot how i got them. i have been working on this for a couple of months now. i have started making extensive notes.

i have an error log from imgburn when i tried to burn one of the converted files. i have a log from dvd flick on something or other i am not sure. let me know how much you can use.

this is my first attempt at doing anything other than a music cd or backup data disc. i know the words mux, bitrate, etc but have no idea what they are. i dont know if i need to make an ISO file or not. i realize i must have asked ten questions on this one thread. should i give it up?
