A few years ago, I found some good introductory videos on the Sony Vegas site for people who had not seen the product before. I think there about six of them that approached different aspects of Vegas. Each showed the operations necessary to perform a task, and likely had a narrator. Does anyone know where I might find them? I have a friend who is interested in movie making. He's pretty much a beginner.

When Vegas 7 (or was it 6 ?) was released Sony posted a series of introductory training videos. I can't find the link to these now, but they have put a set for the latest Vegas Movie Studio. Most of these will cover Vegas Pro as well : http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/support/trainingvids.asp?prod=moviestudio
There is also a lot of stuff on YouTube now for Vegas, so it is worth having a search there.
edit : oops - my bad - the Vegas Pro vids are there as well : http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/support/trainingvids.asp?prod=vegasproRead my blog here.

Good. Thanks. That looks close enough. I don't think they (actually two and not one who are interested in making movies) are going to go pro, but it'll give them an idea of how it differs from some of the stuff they've tried. I told them to try the $55 product to get started, or one of the 30 day trials.
