    hi!

I have an .avi file (23.976 Frames/sec) and I got 3 subtitles to this .avi. I have converted and synced them with my .avi perfectly in the .srt format (00.00.00.00 -> 00.00.00.01 Text Here). Then I have converted all these 3 subtitles into .sup using SubtitleCreator. Now when I make a DVD-project in GUI for dvdauthor (using MUXMAN!) my subtitles aren't synced at all ... why?? please help! have try to fix this problem the whole day today .

    Really thankfull for all answers!

It could be a frame rate conversion issue. You have a 23,976 fps AVI but the final DVD is 25 fps (since you're in a PAL country). I don't know how you converted the AVI to DVD but if the playing time of your DVD is different than that of the AVI you have changed the pace of the video without modifying the subs in the same way.

If that is the case you can easily correct the *.srt in Subtitle Workshop (change the values for Input fps and fps) and create new *.sups with SubtitleCreator.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

thank you very much for answering!

yeah I have changed the AVIs to M2V which are 25 fps. This I have done with avisynth and HCEnc. Yeah it could be that the playing time does change during this conversion. .. ah ok I'll then try to correct my .srt in Subtitle Workshop as you say!

wow it was really simple to change the fps in subtitle workshop! thanks! I have searched for this function and tried to fix that in Time Adjuster but it's much easier in Subtitle Workshop !! THANKS! =) will see if my subs are synced in my DVD-project as well now.... yeah ! they work perfectly thank you very much for your help!

    cheers
