I have a panasonic A120 DVD/VCD player. I have followed burning guidelines exactly. Every time I try and play a VCD it says no disc or no play. I tried it first with a CD-R and it said no disc. Then i read that this certain player works with CD-RW, so I tried it. When I used a CD-RW it said no play. Someone please tell me whatz goin' on! I've also tried the CD-R one in my friends DVD/VCD player and it said no disc. I didn't note what type of player his was though.
Any help is appreciated. THANX

try making a short file using nero's encoder on a cdrw. i find it's a good way to test the system and see if there's was somethig wrong in what you were doing rather than the simply not accepting your disks (or you might want to try a commercial vcd...)

Hi!
Quick point ...... if you check the DVD Players compatibility guide (link on the left navbar <<---), then you'll see that the A120 doesn't accept CDR but does like CDRW .... strange but true!
Also, the make of CDRW could be important too. Try a 2 or 3 different makes such as Verbaitam, TDK, Sony etc etc.
Finally, as Resnullius stated, try a commercial VCD ..... if that fails, take the unit back to the shop!
Hope you sort it out!
