I am having some problem, i have a new system when i try to play avi or vob files, i notice some pixel problem and slow picture motion than the previous system. Few moments ago i decoded own dvd and try to play the decoded file, but same problem.

Try first play with vlc media player, it has builtin codecs. If it would work fine then you probably have some crappy codecs installed. Try use ffdshow. If no difference then it might be vidoe overlay / hardware acceleration problem.

Hardware acceleration/overlay are settings. I would try installing ffdshow and that may be all you need. Usually overlay problems show as a black screen when a video is playing.

But poor playback could be related to your video card settings if the problem still exists with the proper codecs installed.
