How to add overlay to video

Hi First Post here,

I have some video of myself playing the guitar. I would like to add the chords and tablature of the song to the video.

I have seen this done before and was wondering if anyone knew what software could be used to add this to the video?

Or even some tutorial links would be great too.

If you want free, look at WAX2 or ZS4. Otherwise most editors can do this using their titling feature.
