phillips 3575h clock problem

i've had this since last christmas. i've suddenly had problems with the clock resetting itself. the date seems to be the same. may 2034. a friend has a vcr that seems to be doing it too. i have time warner cable . i know there's a signal that can automatically set clock for you. could it be a problem with that signal?

Thanks, I am having the exact same problem and this is exactly what I wanted to know. :D Now I might be able to stop pulling my hair out over my Phillips 37576h. :scratch: I will go ahead and try the manual settings and disabling the DST and see if that helps.
