    Hello all,Could someone please give me the specifications of a computer that can handle video editing software programs such as "Vegas" or "Adobe After Effects".I am planing on buying a new Dell Computer.Please include the model sound card and graphics card,etc.Thank you.

    Get the XPS 420 on the far right. Upgrade the disk space to 1TB.

    Explain what you want to do in AE and Vegas. If you want to go pro HD level, Dell has AVID/Adobe spec workstations in the ~$8K range (not including video server).

    For example:

    For Adobe AE, you need to dig deeper and get peer user opinion.
