Once an image file has been created, can the third party software to burn it into a DVD disc or it can only be written by the same software that created that image file? I am talking about VIDEO_TS.

As long as the file can be burned by the originating software, it can be burned by any viable DVD burning software. I usually use the burner software that's the fastest. 8)

Can an image file be carried by a disc so the disc can be placed in the different computer to burn it into a DVD disc? Is so, the image file should be carried by the CD, DVD disc or either one?

Absolutely. There are even sites available where image files can be downloaded, then burned by the downloader.
There are no problems - only chances to excel.

What is the difference in carrying the image file by between the CD and DVD? Can you explain it?

No difference. The CD can't carry as big of an image file than a DVD, though.

There are different kinds of "image" files, FYI. Nero has the proprietary NRG, while RecordNow can make GI. I'm not readily aware of other tools that can burn those. ISO is the universal file, others not so much.

I tested by using the Pinnacle Studio Plus to make a slideshow VTES_TS file and then used the Nero Recode to burn it into a disc. It displayed unsupported file to be found although the burn was completed. So the image file is software specific, right?

Communication does not seem to be occurring. Let's be more specific.

If you simply want to store images on a disc for viewing on a computer, that's one thing.

If you want a slideshow that starts automatically when you pop a disc into a computer, that's another thing.

If you want images in a format that will be playable from a DVD disc in a standalone DVD player, then that's another, different thing.

If you want a slideshow on DVD that will play in a standalone DVD player, then that's yet another different thing.

Hopefully you get the idea by now: Your original question leaves out too many details for people to answer intelligently.

So, if you tell us VERY SPECIFICALLY what it is that you want to accomplish, you will get a very specific bit of help.
