    hi, i have vcd karaoke and i want to authoring it with dvdlab pro
    what should i use / do if i want to make that dvd still can be karaoke

  2. While I do not have experience with the particular software you are using, I can tell you that VCD is halfway there as far as being usable for DVD. the only problem is the audio. I use TMPGEnc. copy the .DAT file from the VCD to your hard drive and rename it .mpg. Use TMPGEnc's tools to demux (seperate audio from video). Then use it to re-encode the audio to DVD audio specs (you can load the dvd profile to see the specs, I think its 48000/384, then when its done, use TMPGEnc again to remux the audio and video to produce a new mpg file. That new mpg fiel can be used as the source video for just about any DVD authoring program you might have as it will be one of the accpetable standard video formats for DVD authoring. Sorry I can not be specific, but I hope this helped.

    i think if use TMPGEnc to demultiplex it will only got 1 audio right , if it not left audio then it will right audio right ?
    or am i wrong ?
