    Hello,

It's not realy a problem with the subtitles but whit displaying the subtitles in my DVDplayer.
note that I don't burn the subs with the movie, I compile them first with SubMux and I then
rectify them with my DivX player, when I see that the subtitles are the right ones than I check
the CD in my DVDplayer (which plays the AVI-files so this is not the problem). But the subtitles
who are inside the movie are not displayed and I don't have the option to activate them because I didn't
put them on the CD. (They are automaticaly activated when I play them with DivX player).

I've burned my other movies with the subtitles on the CD's and than I have the option of activating them.
So my question is how could I activate/display the subtitles on the CD's where I didn't burn the subtitles
on it but they are included in the movie like I said before.

    thanks in advance...

It is not easy to understand your post but I'll try.

If I understand it right you previously used to put a video file together with a .srt with the same name together on a disc and it played fine in your DVD-player. Now you're trying to mux a subtitle into a DivX-container and the resulting file plays the way it should (with subs) in DivX player but not in your DVD-player. It sounds like your DVD player doesn't support subs muxed in a DivX. If that is the case you won't be able to activate the subs no matter what you do. You will have to do it all again using your previous method instead.

If you are trying to use the Divx container you should understand that few DVD players support the container fully. Your subtitle issues seem to be exactly what would happen if you tried to make a Divx container file and your DVD player doesn't fully support it - the video and audio will play but there is no way to see the subtitles. Unless your DVD player specifically says in the guide that it supports the Divx container, then you have to burn subtitles as a separate file to play them.
