So i ripped a DVD to VOB files on my PC. Want to do is make an MKV file with the video stream and 2 sound streams one for English one for Japaneses and of course one for the sub titles. I have a few dvds i want to so this and one some id like to keep the 5.1 track as well. Is this a realistically doable task?

    Try AutoMKV.

Or do it manually by converting to mkv using for example avidemux or xvid4psp. Demultiplex the audio and subtitles from the dvd vobs using pgcdemux and add to the mkv using mkvmerge.
