    Hi All,
A newbie question. Trying to play a TRP file from my PVR. Video plays fine, but no audio. Convert to AVI file works fine as well. But once again no audio. Any thoughts from the experts out there?

Thx in advance for you help.

What is the audio format in the TRP file? Does ffmpegX show that it recognizes it in the Summary window?

If TRP is some sort of MPEG-2 transport stream, then you may want to use MPEG Streamclip to put the content in a proper MPEG file (File > Convert to MPEG). It should be fast, as it is just saving the same content to a new container file. You may ignore the warning about a missing QuickTime MPEG-2 Playback Component, because the video doesn't need to be decoded for this operation. The resulting output file should convert more easily in ffmpegX.
