Not sure where to post this. ?
I have some old home movies on VHS which I want to transfer to my computer. Full size, not VHS-C. Along with the capture card/device, I need a VCR which will give good picture quality and Not Eat The Tape. These are not replaceable tapes.
What can you recommend?
I do realize this also depends on the condition of the tape and cassette mechanism.
Thank You!!

Your VHS player options are becoming very limited. Best bet is to get one from a local B&M store and test it. Unless your tapes are in poor condition, any player should be able to play them back. I just wouldn't expect much, especially from older tapes.
